I chose the more abstract images, because I'm fascinated by how succinctly these artists responded to the swine flu outbreak. But go to these photo pools and see recent images of people in Mexico City. It must just be the language I speak, because these photos say a lot more to me than the maps with red circles and newsy words like panic and pandemic.
